Something miraculous happened last night, something so exciting that I want to scream it from the roof-tops….!!

I HAD 7 HOURS

UNINTERRUPTED

SLEEP LAST NIGHT!

As this has never happened before I would like to thank a few people.
Hunter, thank you baby for letting Mumma sleep, you must have been picking up the vibes that I was at breaking point and so very tired.
To Cory, thank you for not snoring, or if you did it was oh-so-quiet! Yes!
And thank you bed and pillow, I was starting to lose faith in you guys, however you really pulled through with the goods last night.

Jokes aside, it is becoming very apparent that Hunter’s constant constipation needs some more expert help. Again last night we had to give her a suppository, the poor thing screamed bloody murder for 45 mins while it did its thing. It means that after the pooping session, she had a 7 hour sleep too – the first ever!
We have tried a lot so far with no positive pooping results: seen Doctors, given her juice, prune juice, Coloxyl Drops, Movicol Powder, massage & baths, fruit… The only thing that gets her pooping is a suppository. Obviously that is completely ridiculous to have to do every time  and there is much more going on that we need to find out about. Going to book an appointment with a baby Chiropractor for early next week, to see if maybe it’s an alignment issue? Otherwise next step will be a Pediatrician and a naturopath.

Hunter wakes so much during the night because I believe she has an uncomfortable / painful tummy, it might also be related to why she refuses to crawl / lay on her tummy. It is all beginning to make sense!

Anyway it’s 8am and I feel so alive! Woo!

Fantastic! My 6-and-a-half-month old slept 8pm-11pm, fed, then slept 11:15pm-6am. So I should have been an awesome sleep for me, however my 2-year-old decided to climb into bed with me at 3am and was tossing and turning, whacking me in the head (hubby had left for work already), and was trying to get comfy for nearly 2 hours! Always the way. Lol.

Make sure you so follow up! Our daughter was so so unsettled gor 7 weeks after birth and after 4 weeks in and out of hospital and persisting, we found out she needed surgery on her stomach! The pediatric nurses told me that brown sugar in their milk fixes constipation! They were right! Means u have to feed by bottle once in a while but it worked!!!
